There are multiple first team players at Manchester United that are out of contract next summer.

Lee Grant, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani are all leaving United upon the expiration of their deals on June 30, which means the summer exodus at the club has started with six departures on free transfers.

Marcus Rashford

Although Marcus Rashford struggled for form last season, scoring just five goals in 32 appearances, United have no intention of sanctioning an exit for him this summer. The player is expected to play a key role in Ten Hag's plans next term.

Rashford, 24, will be hoping to revive his career in the new campaign and that will be important considering his contract situation.

The forward's current deal expires next summer, but United do have the option of extending for an additional year.

Fred contributed four goals and six assists from midfield last term, which was his most involvement in the final third since joining the club. Fred has long been a polarising figure among supporters at United, but he continues to be a regular starter.
