Kyogo lands Celtic 'boot up the backside' from Adam Idah as comfort zone removed
Adam Idah's arrival at Celtic is the 'boot up the backside' Kyogo Furuhashi has needed.
That's the verdict of pundit Tam McManus who reckons the Hoops' star forward looked as sharp as he has all campaign in the home win over St Johnstone. Brendan Rodgers' men returned to the league summit after their victory with Rangers' clash at Dens Park suffering a late call-off 24 hours later in a matter that is now being probed by the SPFL.
Kyogo hasn't been as prolific in front of goal this campaign as his previous seasons under now Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou but looked much more like himself at the weekend and that will come as a major boost to both the Parkhead faithful and Rodgers with massive games on the horizon in the hunt for the league title and Scottish Cup - including two derbies with Rangers in the league and potentially another if both reach the Hampden showpiece.

Idah's arrival from Norwich City has not only boosted the No. 9 position but put pressure on Kyogo to get back to his best and McManus reckons that's exactly the 'boot up the backside' the Japan striker needed with his position too comfortable up until that point.
Speaking on PLZ Soccer, he said: "I think Kyogo looked as sharp as he has all season. I looked at his movement - even the ones that got chopped off for offside - and it was great. One was marginal and the other well offside but I think Adam Idah coming in has given him a boot up the backside.
"Kyogo was too comfortable. There was no pressure on his position all season right up until January until Idah came in and started scoring goals. Kyogo found himself on the bench and I think that was
