Chris Sutton predicts Rangers gameplan as Celtic told they must be 'brave' in one key area

Chris Sutton reckons Rangers will go for Celtic at Ibrox as he told his old club they must be BRAVE in one key area.

The derby rivals lock horns this coming Sunday at Ibrox in a blockbuster Old Firm showdown. Brendan Rodgers and his Hoops currently hold the advantage at the league summit. However, they only have a one point lead over Philippe Clement and his troops - having played one more game than the Light Blues.

Sutton concedes that Rangers will have a real advantage in the title race and the destiny of the trophy will be in their own hands should they emerge victorious in Govan. That is despite having to make the trip to Parkhead in the league split. He knows how vital a 90 minutes are to come for he Hoops and he knows it is one his old club simply can't lose for their hopes of defending their crown.

Speaking on the Daily Mail’s It’s All Kicking Off podcast, Sutton said: "For the game itself I will be there and I cannot wait. I haven't got a clue. You know that and most people know that.

"But Philippe Clement has done so well with this Rangers team to turn a team around at the start of the season who had very little belief, into a team that are now slight favourites. They have the game in hand on Celtic. Celtic are on top of the league by a point but this game is absolutely enormous.

"If Rangers win they will have a real advantage albeit they still need to go to Celtic Park but they will have it firmly in their own hands if they win the game. So from Celtic's perspective it is really one they can't lose. It is very, very difficult to call.

"There are players are coming back from injury for Celtic. Reo Hatate, who played last weekend, when he is fit is arguably one of the best midfielders in Scotland if not the best
