Kyle Walker names 10 Man City trophies he'd give up 'without question' for Euros glory

Kyle Walker has won an impressive 17 trophies in seven glittering years at Manchester City - but he'd trade over half of them 'quite happily' to win silverware with England this weekend.

City captain Walker, 34, is set to start for England in the final of Euro 2024 on Sunday, hoping to go one better than the 2021 final where England came up short on penalties against Italy. Since then, he has fought back to win his place at City, been voted as captain by his teammates, and helped the Blues to a historic treble.

Only five players have won more Premier League titles than his six, while he also has four Carabao Cups, two FA Cups, two Community Shields, a Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and of course the Champions League.

But he has risked annoying some City fans by saying he would forgo as many as ten of his winners' medals for City - including five of his Premier League titles - if it meant tasting international success with England in Berlin on Sunday.

Speaking to TalkSPORT he said: “I was saying to H [Harry Kane], not all the trophies that I won for Manchester City, I’d like to keep one of each. But every other one I’d quite happily swap for this one, without a question.”

Walker also hinted that some England players not included in the squad - such as City teammate Jack Grealish - could fly out to Germany to watch the final and support the Three Lions in person.

“I’ve heard some of them are coming out to support us which I think shows great credit to them as individuals,” Walker said.
