Keinan Davis sparks Aston Villa transfer debate after Nottingham Forest turn him into a 'monster'

Aston Villa fans have been discussing the future of striker Keinan Davis after the striker played a key role in Nottingham Forest's FA Cup win over Leicester City.

The forward is on loan at the Reds for the rest of the season and produced a classy performance against the Foxes as Steve Cooper's side ran out shock 4-1 winners.

Davis was not on the scoresheet but came close when he struck a stunning effort against the woodwork and worried the Foxes' backline throughout the contest.

With Danny Ings and Ollie Watkins the two first-choice forwards for Villa head coach Steven Gerrard, fans are unsure what the future holds for Davis at Villa Park.

And there was plenty of reaction on social media. Here's what Villa fans said on Twitter.

"Keinan Davis is good enough as our 3rd striker - I’ve been converted. The guy looks a monster for Forest."

: "I always felt he was going to come good if given a chance. Whether he can stay fit and score enough goals at prem level is the only question, his all-round play is excellent."

"I see this as us getting more money out of him if we sell him in the summer. I feel like his departure is way overdue now."

"Whatever he does at Forest, he needs to go for the sake of his career. He's a talent, definitely at that level."

"Either Ings goes and he steps up, or we loan him to a Prem club next season. There's more value we can get out of him yet, selling outright would be silly."

"Don’t think he is Prem quality which is a shame because I do like him, think he will be a championship player and do well."

"He could be a top player for US..... I won't sell him."
