Juventus 'considering move' for Manchester United defender and more transfer rumours
Juventus could decide to approach Victor Lindelof regarding a move to Italy with his Manchester United contract expiring next summer.
The Swede does have the option for an extra year in his contract which United could decide to trigger if they wish to reap a fee for him. Back in March, the 29-year-old said that he would assess his options at the end of last season having played just nine Premier League games up to that point.
Injuries to Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez meant he ended the term with 20 league appearances under his belt and he ultimately stayed at Old Trafford ahead of the current campaign.

Setbacks to the aforementioned this season have meant Lindelof has already appeared in six of United’s seven Premier League matches. The centre-back, who is considered ahead of Harry Maguire in the pecking order, is set for more game time with Martinez possibly out for the rest of the calendar year.
However, Fichajes claims the player appears to be contemplating his long-term future and that Juventus are monitoring his situation. They would have the right to speak to Lindelof in January as he enters the final six months of his contract.
The Italian giants are in need for a new centre-half but it is unclear whether they would be able to afford the Sweden captain should United wish to trigger his extension. Given the injury situation with defenders, United are unlikely to let him go in January unless a replacement can be guaranteed.
