Junior Dalbeattie Hardrock Challenge is huge success

Dalbeattie Hardrock Challenge’s junior competition was once again a huge success.

Youngsters took part in their own duathlon by biking and running through Dalbeattie Forest on Saturday.

In the eight to nine years category, Tallulah Rennie was first girl and Caidyn Aitchison first boy.

Cobey Stewart won the age group last year and continued his success in the 10-11 section, with Cally Crudington first girl.

Top team in the eight to 11 year olds was the pairing of Eddie Tuchewicz and Cameron Hitchell.

Cobey’s brother Josh won the 12-13 event with Izzy Barbour winning the girls category. Both had won the 10-11 age group last year.

The 14-15 category was won by Zach Barbour. The 12-15 teams award was once again won by Ben Hodson and Noah Crudington.
