Jota ponders TERMINATION trigger as Celtic hero aims to take power back amid Saudi nightmare

Former Celtic standout Jota is reportedly seeking talks to potentially terminate his Al-Ittihad contract on full pay as his Saudi nightmare shows no signs of ending.

The 24-year-old has endured a torrid time in the Middle East as his £25m move quickly turned sour as he currently finds himself unable to play until January after failing to make the foreign player quota cut with the Saudi champions. Jota was fed a series of pleasantaries but rumours of his status were proved true when he carpeted out of their final squad until January. And now Jota appears ready to take things into his own hands as he aims to get round the table with the option of a quick-fire exit on the table.

And transfer specialist Rudy Galletti posted on social media: "The Portugal star is now evaluating either to wait until January hoping that the club's and Nuno's decision will change or start talks to terminate his contract, asking for full salary". A report suggested Jota would consider a return to his former team, however, he will likely be chased by many clubs if he becomes available.
