Jonnie Irwin supported as he teases latest project featuring wife Jess

TV presenter Jonnie Irwin has been flooded with support after teasing his latest project, which involved him getting interviewed from his Newcastle home.

Jonnie, who is best known for fronting Channel 4's A Place In The Sun and BBC's Escape to the Country, shared the devastating news that he had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in November last year. The 49-year-old said at the time that his lung cancer had spread to his brain and that he 'doesn't know' how long he has left to live.

He revealed the first warning sign of his illness came while he was filming A Place in the Sun in August 2020 in Italy, when his vision became blurry while driving. Jonnie has regularly been updating fans of his journey via Instagram.

In the caption, he wrote: "Spent much of the day posing and getting interviewed. I’ll let you know when it comes out once I’ve seen the copy to make sure I’ve not made a total ass of myself.
