John Hartson clamps Celtic transfer query over Dominik Livakovic as Joe Hart debate sparks brutal 'clanger' opinion

John Hartson can't see why Celtic would want to house four goalkeepers after fielding a Dominik Livakovic question as part of a debate on Joe Hart's Parkhead status.

The current number one was caught in the middle of a Ross County penalty claim during Saturday's 4-2 win over Ross County, as a heavy touch was almost pounced upon by Simon Murray. His work for the County header scored by Jordan White has also been questioned and other errors in pre-season have had some Celtic fans question whether he is the right man to be between the sticks.

Former Rangers defender Craig Moore can sense Aberdeen piling the pressure on him this Sunday when Brendan Rodgers' side head to Pittodrie. He told Go Radio: "Joe Hart has huge experience as number one, but he has a clanger in his locker. There was a poor decision in the opening minutes against Ross County that he gets away with. The Dons will want to test him early doors, run him down in the press and have efforts on goal. There's a mistake there."

But Hartson isn't so sure Hart is a major Celtic issue. Talk of Croatian stopper Dominik Livakovic has lingered all summer and when host Paul Cooney asked the former striker 'can we score off the name of Livakovic who's name has been mentioned with a number of clubs including Celtic, and do you need two top class keepers', and he responded: "Not if you have got Siegrist, Bain, and Hart.

"You have three there. Why do you want four goalkeepers? Siegrist hasn't really had much opportunity and the game's he has come in, he's done ok."

Hartson added earlier in the conversation between himself, a radio caller and Moore: "Joe Hart is not brilliant with his feet. Joe is ok... I think Joe last season took a few risks in tight scenarios.
