Celtic diehards go to war in bonkers Hotline as Rangers punters devour uncivil life without Ange spat

Celtic managed to get out of Pittodrie with all three points on Sunday but some Hoops fans are worried their side have yet to click under Brendan Rodgers.

There’s no need to be slamming the panic button just yet but with fears former boss Ange Postecoglou might be considering a Spurs raid for star man Kyogo, it’s not all hunky dory with the champions. James Robertson emailed: “This is two weeks in row Celtic has looked very sluggish. Passing has not looked sharp and veteran ball players have struggled. “Either Ross County and Aberdeen are vastly improved from last season or we have regressed. I’m not pushing the panic button, but improvement has to happen and quickly.”

William Hutchison, Aberdeen, said: “What’s point of having defenders if they aren't going to defend. Joe Hart was lucky not to be sent off if it wasn't for offside, and that was due to terrible defending. Rodgers better get that defence sorted and fast.”

Other Parkhead punters are refusing to get flustered. But Robert McEwan, Mount Vernon, said: “Here we go with my fellow Celtic fans on moaning. Okay, we all know Celtic can play better, but if the scoreline anything to go by I can’t wait till we are up and running. It’s a hard venue up at Pittodrie.”

Eddie Easson, Ballingry, said: “Another result ground out by the champions. This can only be bad news for the rest. Rangers new boys had better have thick skins as there are a lot more boos coming their way from the fickle Ibrox faithful.”

Celtic are still shopping but Kyogo’s impressive start to the season has some worried.
