KSI and Tommy Fury’s bout is set to draw millions of global viewers - yet there is one man outside the ring who could yet steal the show.

John Fury’s impassioned outbursts have long entertained the boxing world and, as with his son bidding to end the unbeaten record of his YouTube star opponent this weekend, there is plenty of potential for more fireworks from Fury Sr this weekend.

He’s already played a key role in heightening the tension ahead of this fight and has done so previously when Tommy and half-brother Tyson have taken to the ring. And ahead of the meeting at Manchester Arena on Saturday, October 14, we rank John Fury’s five best outbursts:

Ahead of Tommy Fury’s meeting with Paul Bamba in November 2022, Fury Sr clashed with his son’s former rival Anthony Taylor. Taylor featured on the same card and was jibing at Fury Jr about a rematch as the former Love Island star was being interviewed.

And that irked his father, who was held back by security after telling Taylor to ‘be quiet or I’ll knock you the f*** out’.

Tyson Fury and Dillan Whyte’s pre-fight press conference in April 2022 had been a largely unremarkable affair - until the face-off. John Fury took exception to a member of Whyte’s team - with the fighter claiming his opponent’s father needed to ‘calm down’ after the two sides threatened to clash.

Speaking to BT Sport, he said: “Tyson Fury's dad needs to relax. My man's 600 years old, and he's stepping forward, trying not to let my guys get on the stage.

“He's always trying to get in front of his son. I just said - old man take it easy.”
