‘Disturbing’ footage shows man being slapped in the face as fight breaks out during Deacon Blue concert at AO Arena

‘Disturbing’ scenes took place during a Deacon Blue concert at the AO Arena after a fight that saw a man ‘slapped’ was captured on camera.

A couple, who asked not to share their names, were left horrified after witnessing a brawl breaking out during the concert on Friday, October 6. They claim members of security were told about the incident but ‘did nothing’.

A spokesperson for the AO Arena's management team said there had been an 'isolated incident' during the show and that one woman was ejected from the venue by security staff.
