Joanna Jedrzejczyk UFC Return: Legend reveals what would tempt her out of retirement

UFC legend Joanna Jedrzejczyk recently retired from the octagon after losing in her rematch to Weili Zhang, but could we see her make her way back into MMA?

The now-former Women’s Strawweight division fight will go down as one of the most popular and successful fighters in the history of the company, and as such, she is a sure-fire hall of fame candidate.

Whilst Jedrzejczyk may be content in her recent retirement, there would be no complaints from UFC fans should she decide to make that famous walk to the octagon once again, so could she do it?

Here is what Joanna Jedrzejczyk had to say with regards to a potential return to the UFC octagon and ending her recent retirement from the sport.

As noted, Jedrzejczyk retired earlier this year after losing to Zhang at UFC 275, so it’s quite early for her to be talking about a return, but talking she certainly is.

Speaking to MMAFighting (via BJPenn.com), the 34-year-old fighter revealed that she would return to the octagon to fight for a women’s version of the ‘BMF’ championship.

She said: “Maybe I could come back for the female ‘BMF’ title. Look, I’m retired. I am retired, but in the future, maybe I would fight for the ‘BFMF’ [belt]. I don’t know [who I would fight], there’s not that many ‘BFMF,’ real O.G. female fighters left.”

“I want to stick with the UFC. I’m looking forward to sitting down with Dana White to talk about my future, and what I could possibly do for the UFC and the fans because there’s no sport without fans — any sport.
