AEW: Matches added to week 2 of Fyter Fest

With Rampage closing out in week 1 of AEW Fyter Fest, week 2 is setting up to be a treat with a few highly anticipated matches added to next week’s AEW Dynamite.

Fyter Fest week 1 gave fans numerous surprises and high calibre matches. Most notably, the war between Antonio Csatgnoli and former partner Jake Hager.

Also, the unexpected crowning of new AEW World Tag Team Champions as Swerve In Our Glory prevailed in a triple threat tag team match against The Young Bucks and Team Taz. 

However, week 2 will see the highly anticipated Barbed Wire Everywhere Deathmatch between ‘The Painmaker’ Chris Jericho and fierce rival Eddie Kingston. In AEW, Chris Jericho is undefeated as ‘The Painmaker’. Therefore Kingston will have the biggest task of his career.

Furthermore, it was announced on the 14th of July that Brody King will take on Darby Allin, a rivalry that started when King won the number one contender battle royale.

The rivalry would get taken further as King and Allin would brawl after The Kings Of The Black Throne’s win against the Dark Order, with Allin taking King out by jumping off the stage.

Another match added to the card is the tag team match of The Varsity Blonds colliding with Christian Cage and Luchasaurus. Since aligning with Christian, a new side to Luchasaurus has made him dominant inside an AEW ring, winning matches in a convincing fashion.

Week 2 of Fyter Fest will see The Varsity Blonds look for revenge, whereas Chrisitan and Luchasaurus will look to keep wreaking havoc in AEW.
