Jiri Prochazka shows off Samuari training methods ahead of UFC 275
Jiri Prochazka will be making his way to the octagon for the main event of UFC 275 challenging for the Light Heavyweight Championship, and the 205-pound title challenger recently revealed some of his Samurai training methods.
In the past, ‘The Czech Samurai’ has revealed that one of the key components of his training philosophies includes punching a tree 500 times per day.
Prochazka’s training area is a martial artist’s dream, and his training with a Samurai sword is certainly different from most that compete inside the octagon.
Here is what Jiri Prochazka revealed about his Samurai training methods ahead of his UFC 275 main event contest.

Prochazka released a video on his personal YouTube channelshowing off some of his training methods ahead of his attempt to win the 205-pound title on Saturday night from Singapore.
The UFC Light Heavyweight contender begins the video by introducing his training venue. He says “Traditional home BJP training! Everything that I need is here. Kettlebell, punching bag, makiwara, rope, rail, all the classics.
“I’m repeating every week continuously, once a week, minimum. Let the deep core stay there, the stabilization system, this training has it all.
“The core, the movement, a flow, connection to everything of course through my antenna, and endurance, endurance power, maximum power, dynamics, all condition factors.”
