Burnley remain keen to strengthen their squad further ahead of the new Championship season despite signing four players last week.

The Vincent Kompany revolution is under way with attacking midfielder Scott Twine and defensive trio CJ Egan-Riley, Luke McNally and Taylor Harwood-Bellis arriving. The Clarets have sold goalkeeper Nick Pope and seen a host of players depart on free transfers at the end of their contracts.

The midfielder has been a long-term target of Burnley's and previous boss Sean Dyche was a keen admirer of the Ireland international.

The Coventry City winger is reportedly a target for the Clarets. The Sun report that Kompany is keen to pursue a deal for the 24-year-old as he seeks to further strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.

O'Hare has previously said he will not be leaving Coventry this summer. "Yeah, of course," was his response when asked if he will still be a Coventry City player next season. "Obviously I love it at Cov, you know, and I've had a great year. The fans have been unbelievable."
