Jake Paul calls Anderson Silva fight the 'biggest' of his career

Jake Paul believes his fight with Anderson Silva will be ‘the biggest pay-per-view’ of his career.

Paul, the YouTube star-turned-prizefighter, will fight former UFC middleweight champion Silva in a boxing match in Glendale on October 29.

The 25-year-old, who started out posting videos on YouTube before making the switch to boxing, is 5-0 as a professional boxer, with knockout wins over ex-UFC pair Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.

However many experts have predicted that Silva will be his toughest fight yet.

But as Thomas Jefferson once said, with great risk comes great reward, as interest levels are arguably higher than ever before.

And according to Paul, he reckons it could do north of half-a-million pay-per-view buys.

“I do think this will be the biggest pay-per-view [of my career],” he told MMA Junkie.

“I would be happy with anywhere from 300-500,000, but I think it can get up anywhere to like 600 or 700,000, depending on how the fight week goes and the promotion and if ‘All Access’ performs well.

“I think this could be the biggest one for sure.”

Paul also insists that Silva is ‘representing the MMA community’ despite his recent claims.

“He’s definitely representing the MMA community,” he added.

“I think he just doesn’t want that pressure, maybe because even Tyron [Woodley] said the same thing. Clearly they are representing the MMA community, and tons of the MMA fans want to see me lose, because there is a feud between us all. So he definitely is representing his legacy and all that.
