ITV This Morning in presenter shake-up as new face joins Alison Hammond in place of Dermot O'Leary

This Morning is set to undergo another shake-up on Monday as a completely new face joins Alison Hammond for the Bank Holiday show. The presenter is usually joined by Dermot O'Leary from Friday and holiday editions of the ITV daytime show.

But after appearing together on Friday (April 29), things are set to change. Fans of the show have gotten used to seeing the likes of Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay stepping in for any absent host.

However, presenter Craig Doyle took to his Instagram to share the news that he will be joining Alison on the show on May 2nd.

Alison, 47, reshared her new co-host's post adding a GIF which said 'LOL' - aka laugh out loud - and a crying laughing face emoji.

Craig, 51, is a TV and radio presenter in Ireland and viewers may recognise him as he had appeared on This Morning from time to time, more recently hosting ITV's competition segment from around the Emerald Isle.

He has worked for both the BBC and ITV and more recently BT Sport. Irish viewers also know him as the host of RTÉ One chat show Tonight with Craig Doyle and RTÉ Two's Craig Doyle Live.

He is the main anchor on BT Sport Premiership and European Champions Cup rugby coverage. Craig is also a presenter on ITV's Rugby World Cup coverage.

Some may also recognise Craig as a blast from the past as he used to host the children's programme Diggit on GMTV from 1998 to 2002 with Fearne
