Eagle-eyed ITV This Morning viewers spot spelling blunder

This Morning viewers aren't ones to miss things and the eagle-eyed among them were soon quick to point out a spelling blunder during the latest edition of the ITV daytime show. As usual, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were back at the helm for the last episode of the week.

The pair kicked off by welcoming viewers to Friday's show. "Welcome to This Morning, this is what you've got, two hours of fun to look forward to," Alison said. And the show got off to a funny start when her co-host Dermot admitted he was "a little perplexed" earlier in the week because of a text he received from a member of the This Morning team.

"We start talking to the team on Wednesday about what we're going to do in the show," he started to explain as Alison chimed in: "They start talking to you on a Wednesday? They don't phone me until today!"

"Well you're very last minute," Dermot joked before adding "No it's just you don't need it! You know me, I panic and I've got to prep and all that, you're just fine with all that." Anyway, Dermot went on to laugh at how the team member said they were "douching" the show on Friday and wanted to hear his thoughts, when of course she meant "producing."

It led to viewers sending in their own texting fails and Dermot couldn't quite keep it together when he spotted one which said: "Grace said I meant to text my husband saying I was saving my..." he struggled to continue before composing himself. "I meant to text my husband saying I was saving my muffin for later but actually text him saying I was going to shave my muffin later." The pair burst into laughter before it was time to move on in case
