ITV The Masked Singer viewers make wild guess with one panellist missing

The Masked Singer viewers are making some major early guesses as to who one of the disguised performers is.

It comes after panellist Rita Ora is noticeably missing from the bench in tonight's episode. One of the hopeful contestants is dressed up as a Maypole, with fan theories spiralling ever since they were announced before the show aired.

Connecting the obvious dots, fans are now certain that the Maypole is Rita Ora. It's not the first time she has been missing from the panel after she was noticeably absent on launch night last week.

Prior to tonight's episode, the Maypole said in an ITV press pack: "Keeping it secret actually hasn’t been that hard for me. I’ve decided to just hide in plain sight!”

One viewer X, formerly Twitter, said: "Is Rita Ora Maypole? That's why she's off every other week?" A second said: "Oh what a surprise no #ritaora again! On the same night #maypole is performing again!"

A third added: "Right I’m convinced that Maypole is Rita Ora now. We haven’t seen them in the same room!" A fourth said: "Just saying … Maypole is on tonight and Rita Ora isn’t on the judging panel again …"

Another added: "So no Rita Ora again tonight, that's 2 shows Maypole has been singing & Rita is suspiciously absent. Which confirms the theory that Maypole is actually Rita."
