ITV The Masked Singer fans use same two-word reaction as Owl unmasked as Lorraine Kelly after double bluff

It was another night of spectacular - and interesting - performances and more questionable guessing before The Masked Singer axed its next contestant with Owl unmasked. And in a double bluff, they'd even appeared on the panel this series as a guest judge.

It was Lorraine Kelly who was behind the school uniform-dressed bird when her mask was removed at the end of Saturday night's (January 27) show. Earlier in the episode, Owl sought to impress The Masked Singer judges by performing Happy Talk by Captain Sensible.

A series of football clues led comedian Mo Gilligan to feel convinced it was player-turned-pundit Alex Scott, saying he would wear only a pair of boxers and socks to next week’s episode if he was wrong. Sports presenter Gabby Logan was also suggested by Davina McCall, while Rita Ora guessed actress Emily Atack.

But in the end it was Scottish TV presenter Lorraine was was revealed as being Owl. The 64-year-old said as she spoke to host Joel Dommett: "I've loved being Owl, I've loved every single second, the show is so joyful."

Talking about why she signed up, she admitted: "I just wanted to have a bit of fun to kick off the year and to be a bit silly. I've never had a chance to sing in front of an audience before, and I thought if I was behind a mask it wouldn't be as scary."

Lorraine admitted she was shocked the judges didn't pick up on her Scottish accent, she said: "I was astounded that the panel didn't get me right away because I thought they would hear my Scottish accent.She also said that she's "never sang in front
