ITV Dancing on Ice fans say 'what a joke' after shock elimination result

Chelsee Healey was the first contestant to be eliminated from Dancing on Ice.

In the second episode of the hit ITV competition, the other half of the celebrities took to the ice for the first time with their professional skating partners to perform in hopes of impressing the judges.

Contestants taking part in this year's series include Coronation Street actor Sam Aston, reality star Ferne McCann and retired Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave.

Former EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks, reality star Dan Edgar, The Traitors contestant Mollie Pearce, comedian Josh Jones, presenter Michaela Strachan and former footballer Anton Ferdinand are also taking part.

Chelsee, known best for her role as Goldie in Hollyoaks, was the first celebrity to be eliminated on Sunday night, January 19, marking a premature end to her journey with partner Andy Buchanan.

On Sunday night, Actress Charlie Brooks kicked off the second episode with partner Eric as they danced to Gimme Gimme Gimme, receiving 26 out of 40 - 6.5's all-round.

The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star Dan Edgar impressed the judges and the public with his excellent skating skills, but was advised by the judges to try and show more connection between himself and partner Vanessa to improve.

Former Traitors contestant Molly Pearce and partner Colin Grafton gave a gorgeous and goose-bump inducing performance to Olivia Rodrigo's Vampire, earning a strong score of 26 out of 40.

But Chelsee was sadly the first to leave the show. And after the shock departure, with no skate-off, ITV Dancing on Ice fans have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to share their shock at the result.
