ITV Dancing on Ice viewers are all saying the same thing about the show's scoring system

Dancing on Ice has skated on to our screens with the third episode of the ITV competition. This week's theme is Movie Week and the show has gone all out with its costumes and elaborate film-themed routines.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern wore matching Wicked costumes and fans have been lapping their looks up.

Holly, 43, donned a pink princess ballgown with a plunging neckline and a matching tiara and wand. Stephen, 47, committed to the costume by wearing green face paint and a pointy witches hat throughout the entire show.

The show returned for its 17th series earlier this month with Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as judges who are all hoping this year's batch of contestants are skating superstars in the making.

Oti followed this week's theme to a T, dressing up as X Men's Storm. She paired the character's iconic silver hair with a gorgeous little black dress with a built in cape.

But it's not the outfits or the ice skating routines that have got fans talking online, however. Viewers of the show have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to complain about the judges' scoring system.

Many have mentioned that the scores are 'way too high', especially since the show is only on on week three.

X user @ayesleft said: "The scores on Dancing on Ice are way too high for everyone. It's become ridiculous." Another user, @Michelle_G_Lund, wrote: "Think I'm done with dancing on ice now. Scores are ridiculously high, half of them are reality stars, not celebrities, and I can't stand Stephen Mulhern!!!"

A third, @ryzzzi, penned: "The scores on Dancing on ice has actually become outrageous! Way too high for everyone."
