ITV Dancing on Ice fans 'surprised' by one star's performance in week two

In the second episode of Dancing on Ice, the second batch of celebrities took to the ice for the first time.

Performing tonight were celebrities Dan Edgar, Charlie Brooks, Molly Pearce, Josh Jones and Steve Redgrave. Hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern took to the stage with quippy jokes and entertainment throughout the evening.

Former British rower Steve Redgrave received a reasonable 17.5 out of 40 with partner Vicky Ogden, and The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) Dan Edgar topped the table with a whopping 29 out of 40 with partner Vanessa.

Fans of the hit ITV dancing competition have taken to social media to express their "surprise" for TOWIE star Dan's excellent skating skills.

On X, formerly Twitter, @elbowed159320 said: "Surprisingly good effort from Dan!!", and @AmyJoanne__ added: "Tell you what, Dan was the best by far tonight for me".

@teenamassam said: "Good skate from Dan…", and @103amf wrote: "Dan Edgar so great for first skate love the Bridgerton look gorgeous".

@slinehan1 said: "Dan was good, very smooth on his skates and no wobbles.", and @rogernook said: "Dan is easily the best this year the rest are not in his league".

And the compliments for Dan kept on coming. On X, @indigo_stafford said: "Dan Edgar being amazing at Ice Skating was not on my 2025 bingo card", and @roscoeleebarnes added: "Right, so Dan is good".

The judge's agreed that Dan's skating was fantastic, being described as "incredible" by Ashley Banjo, and the "most natural skater" ever seen on the show by Christopher Dean.
