'It’s looking doubtful' - Manchester United fans spot worrying sign in training ahead of Brighton game
Manchester United supporters have aired their concerns over Sofyan Amrabat's fitness.
The Reds return to Premier League action with a tough test against Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday. Erik ten Hag may feel he has a point to prove after the Seagulls defeated his side in both league meetings last term.
United will hope to mark their return with a positive display after a shaky start to the new campaign. Midfield has proven to be the key area of concern in the opening weeks, with Casemiro often being left vulnerable as part of a double pivot, next to either Mason Mount or Christian Eriksen. The deadline day signing of Fiorentina captain Sofyan Amarabat was intended to combat the team’s imbalance in the middle of the pitch.

Amrabat is yet to feature for the Reds and withdrew from Morocco’s squad during the international break, in what manager Walid Regragui described as a precautionary measure. It was hoped that extra time at Carrington would ensure that the 26-year-old was fully fit and available for selection against Brighton.
However, the midfielder was a notable omission from the latest selection of training photos released by United. This prompted a cause for concern among Reds fans on social media, with many hoping to see Amrabat make his debut for the club against Brighton.
@TheFergusonWay: No Amrabat training pictures??
