Amrabat in defence and Mount starts - Manchester United fans pick line-up vs Crystal Palace

Manchester United fans will be confident of defeating Crystal Palace in their second game against the Eagles at Old Trafford in five days.

The Reds beat Roy Hodgson’s side 3-0 in the League Cup on Tuesday and are expected to name a stronger line-up for Saturday’s Premier League contest. Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford are expected to come back into the XI while Sofyan Amrabat could begin a second game at left-back.

The Moroccan played there in midweek amid Sergio Reguilon’s absence and could reprise the role again with the defender also ruled out of this weekend’s clash. Lisandro Martinez will play no part after being ruled out for around two months with a recurrence of April’s metatarsal injury.

United supporters have chosen who they want to see start in his wake in their line-up selections versus Palace.

Andre Onana played against Palace on Tuesday when many felt Erik ten Hag would rotate. The win came as a further confidence booster for the shot-stopper who now has three clean sheets for the season, and two in as many outings.

After impressing on Tuesday, fans want to see Amrabat at left-back once again. Diogo Dalot - the only fit natural full-back - has been named on the right following a fine performance last time out.

Supporters have chosen Victor Lindelof to take the place usually occupied by Martinez, with Harry Maguire left to the bench. Raphael Varane played an hour in midweek and should see out the full game this weekend.
