Inter Milan transfer stance revealed on Leicester City defender

Inter Milan's pursuit of Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu could be sealed this summer, according to reports in Italy.

The Italian giants have are interested in the Turkish centre-back as a replacement for Milan Skriniar and could now make their move in tempting Soyuncu away from LE3 and to the San Siro if they lose their defender.

La Gazetta dello Sport claimed that Milan's sporting director Piero Ausilio asked about Soyuncu's availability, with the defender understood to be one of several Foxes players who could depart this summer.

The Slovakian defender has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea and Simone Inzaghi's side are looking to add three new centre-backs to their squad ahead of the 2022/23 season.

After originally struggling to adapt to the physical demands of the English game, he became a hit when Harry Maguire joined Manchester United for £80 million and has been a constant figure in Brendan Rodgers' backline.

Torino defender Bremer, who has been linked with a move to City this window, has been made a priority by the Serie A side. The reports claim that Soyuncu would be brought in if Skriniar is to leave or if Torino hold firm.
