Inter chief 'flies in to complete Andre Onana transfer' and other Manchester United rumours

Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio has reportedly flown to England to complete Andre Onana's transfer to Manchester United.

Corriere della Sera reports a fee of approximately €50m (£42.9m) has been agreed between the two clubs. The Cameroonian goalkeeper was a star player for Inter this season as the Serie A giants reached the Champions League final.

Onana made 41 appearances in all competitions but only conceded on 36 occasions. During the course of the campaign, the 27-year-old kept 19 clean sheets.

It is understood Inter were not wanting to part ways with their 'keeper this summer but the move is deemed a necessity so they can strengthen elsewhere. Onana has been praised for his distribution which was seen as a weakness by this season's first choice David de Gea.

This is not the first time the Lazio central midfielder has been touted with a move to Old Trafford. The Serbian scored 11 goals and notched eight assists this season in what was another impressive campaign for the 28-year-old.

Last month, Lazio's sporting director Igli Tare claimed his club were open to selling Milinkovic-Savic. He told Sky Sports Italia: "For the good of everyone, we will sit around a table and clarify this.
