Manchester United transfer news LIVE Andre Onana 'official proposal' and Mason Mount medical

Manchester United are closing in on their first signing of the summer, after agreeing a deal with Chelsea for Mason Mount.

The England international had already agreed personal terms with United and the midfielder is now set to sign a five-year contract at Old Trafford. A £60million fee will see United land Mount, after seeing three bids rejected by the Stamford Bridge side.

Reports suggest that Mount will have his medical in Manchester on Monday. Mount will give Erik ten Hag's squad a needed boost, but the Dutch manager is looking to strengthen other positions too.

Links to Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana have intensified amid the uncertainty surrounding David De Gea's future at the club. A centre-forward is also on the shopping list, while a centre-back could be targeted too.
