Rangers transfer news bulletin as Kenny McLean price tag set while Joan Jordan lands ominous 'burden' warning

Norwich City have reportedly warned suitors of a bumper price tag for Kenny McLean with Sheffield United and Swansea City said to be joining Rangers in the race for a deal.

Record Sport revealed that the Scotland international has been placed on Philippe Clement and his recruitment team's list of summer targets, with the former Aberdeen and St Mirren playmaker having been tracked by the Light Blues' scouting team at the end of the season and at Euro 2024. The two-time Europa League winner has been told he is surplus to requirements by the La Liga side with reports suggesting that an offer from Rangers to take the midfielder on loan and pick up 30 per cent of his wages has been turned down by Sevilla. However, it is claimed in Spain that the club are still open to an exit.
