I'm A Celebrity fans realise who Sam Thompson reminds them of as they rush to defend him

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here fans have decided who Sam Thompson reminds them of as they continue to defend his happy-go-lucky personality. The former Made in Chelsea star hasn't shied away from sharing his excitement about taking part in the ITV reality show.

Sam was among the ten initial famous faces who headed Down Under as they swapped their luxury lives for one in the jungle. They have since been joined by two latecomers, Frankie Dettori and Tony Bellew, while Grace Dent has since, unfortunately, quite the programme on 'medical grounds'.

But during the last installment of I'm A Celeb action on Sunday night (November 26), viewers saw the TV personality and podcast host winning dinner for camp. Sam was joined by Nella Rose for Fishy Business after a public vote saw them both chosen for the latest trial which saw them having to answer questions about a number of sea creatures by entering tanks filled with animals such as spiders and crustaceans.

And it was a success as between them, they earned 10 out of 12 stars for the camp, which translated into a decent meal for them and their fellow campmates. After getting out of the tank, an excited Sam told Geordie duo Ant and Dec: "All I’ve ever wanted is to make you proud," while also declaring his love for the hosts.

But fans have since been taking to social media to share their thoughts on Sam as they stick up for the star as some don't quite warm to his excitable energy. @LaurenRose94_ tweeted: "Sam constantly telling Ant & Dec he loves them like Buddy from
