'I'll tell you right now' - Well-known pundit drops major Spurs claim after what he's heard

TalkSport pundit Alan Brazil has dropped an interesting claim on Mauricio Pochettino and a possible return to Tottenham Hotspur.

It’s fair to say that after having been through some incredible years whilst Pochettino was at the helm, including four consecutive years finishing inside the top four, Spurs just haven’t managed to truly replace the Argentinian in the dugout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

They are now on their fourth manager since he left the club in 2019, and there is even uncertainty over whether current manager Antonio Conte will make it through to the end of the year given his recent behaviour.

And according to Brazil, there might be a chance in the future for the two parties to be reunited.

Speaking on TalkSport, as a part of a discussion about comments made by Paris Saint-Germain director Leonardo in newspaper L’Equipe (via The Manchester Evening News) and a possible link to Manchester United, Brazil seemed to hint that the only club the Argentinian would come back to England for is Spurs.

He said: “I’ll tell you right now that [Pochettino has no intention of leaving PSG] is not the case. From the horse’s mouth, that is not the case. He wants to come back to the Premier [League] and he wants to come back with Tottenham.

“I’m not saying it’s gonna happen, but that’s what he wants.

“I’m not saying Poch won’t go to United, because if he can’t get back to Spurs and United want him, he’d be a fool probably, to say no. But I do know in his heart he wants to come back to Spurs.”
