"Absolutely perfect for Son and Kane" – Sky Sports reporter drops big Spurs claim on £37.5m star

Tottenham attacker Dejan Kulusevski is “absolutely perfect” for Heung Min Son and Harry Kane, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

The 21-year-old joined on loan from Juventus in January and has enjoyed a fine first two months in English football.

Kulusevski’s first couple of outings were nothing to write home about, but since he was thrown in for his full debut against Manchester City last month, he’s gone from strength to strength.

Having opened the scoring at the Etihad Stadium, the attacker, having such a great game that he stayed on the pitch at the expense of Son, crossed for Harry Kane to net a dramatic added-time winner.

Kulusevski also won the penalty that Kane dispatched in the defeat at Manchester United, while better finishing in the West Ham victory would have seen his assist tally grow even further.

Regardless, Kulusevski has still enjoyed a dream start at Spurs. Heading into the international break, he’s been involved in six goals in nine Premier League games, which has seen Antonio Conte’s side remain firmly in the race for the top four.

When asked about his impact, Bridge told GIVEMESPORT: “Kulusevski is just absolutely perfect for Son and Kane to play their game. They love the way he drifts back in and he’s quite creative.”
