'I go back to Rangers to start all over again and fight' Ianis Hagi refuses to give up in passionate fan address

Ianis Hagi is refusing to give up on his Rangers career and declared he will fight tooth and nail to save his Ibrox career.

The playmaker has frozen out under Belgian boss Philippe Clement with the Ibrox gaffer making his feelings clear on the situation surrounding the Romania international on more than one occasion. He's been playing in the B team set up and training away from the first team behind the scenes and while fans have been wanting answers, he remains frozen out. Hagi himself has taken to social media to express his 'love' for the club and has once again made his stance clear to everyone involved at Rangers by insisting 'I'm ready to fight for the fans, the coach and team'

It was expected Hagi would leave before the summer window slammed shut to free up some funds - however, he remains on the books and he offered a glimpse of what he has to offer Clement in recent B team outings and also for Romania on the international stage. Speaking to Pro Sport, he said: "It's all down to me, I know what I've been through for the last six weeks. I did the training with the second team, I did the physical training. The Romania coach knows how much I pulled myself to be present here.

"This is my passion. I'm going back to Rangers, I have one year left on my contract there. I gave two public messages, everyone knows them. I love the club, I'm ready to fight for the fans, for what that huge club means in Europe.

"I'm there, I'm back, I'm fighting for the coach, for the team. They know who I am as a person, as a footballer. Tomorrow I go back to Glasgow and start all over again, I fight."
