Iani Hagi rips it up for Rangers B again as pressure on Philippe Clement to end first team exile increases

Another Rangers B game, another reminder from Ianis Hagi that he's ready to go should his first team exile come to an end.

The Romanian was at the double as Gers' second string came from behind to beat Huddersfield. Findlay Curtis gave the hosts the lead before the Yorkshire outfit turned things around before the break, only for Hagi to take centre stage in the second half to fire the Light Blues to victory. A stunning free-kick from the edge of the box with just under 15 minutes restored parity before he hit a stoppage-time winner.

The Romanian rebuffed all advances for him during the summer transfer window and is determined to reignite his Rangers career. Record Sport exclusively revealed that a clause in his contract means Hagi is entitled to a wage hike after he plays 100 games for the Ibrox club. He currently sits on 99, but has said he is willing to come to an arrangement if it means he can return to first team action under Philippe Clement.

Fans have urged the Belgian to reconsider, with many feeling Hagi still has something to offer and that he may as well be put to use rather than left to rot in the reserves.
