Hull FC talking points: Key men struggle to shine, Carlos Tuimavave concern and Good Friday

Hull FC’s Challenge Cup run came to an end on Saturday evening as they lost 24-16 to Huddersfield Giants at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Here’s a look at some of the talking points.

The Giants are sitting third in the Super League table for a reason and, despite seeing them off at the MKM Stadium just a few weeks ago, Hull knew they would need a big showing from their key men in order to edge out Ian Watson’s side. As such, eyes were on the likes of Jake Connor, Luke Gale and Josh Reynolds at the John Smith’ Stadium.
