Huddersfield Town player ratings: Give your verdict after victory at Middlesbrough
Huddersfield Town strengthened their hand in a highly-competitive Championship promotion race when beating Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium this afternoon. Goals either side of half-time by Naby Sarr and Jordan Rhodes put the visitors in a commanding position as they finished 2-0 winners.
The result doesn't lift Town in the Championship standings and while they are now just one point behind Bournemouth, having played three games more the automatic promotion places may still be beyond Carlos Corberan 's men. However, a play-off place is now looking much more secure with a current 10-point gap on Blackburn Rovers and Middlesbrough who sit just outside of the top six.
The advantage of a home tie in the second leg for finishing in the top four is also edging closer, but let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet! The victory capped another good display by the Terriers and we want you to deliver your verdict on how you thought the players performed against a play-off rival.
