Huddersfield Town player ratings as Harry Toffolo and Tino Anjorin make impact at Coventry City

Got to every cross without issue and came off his line smartly on a couple of occasions to stop Coventry getting clean through. Powerless on the late Coventry goal.

Made a couple of vital last-ditch interventions and held the line well.

Played one or two questionable balls from the middle of the back three but defensively solid.

Another excellent performance throughout from the young centre-back.

Gradually grew into the game and started to get more and more involved in the attack second half.

A slight surprise in the starting lineup after Danel Sinani was ruled out injured. Looked better in the attacking half than in his own, with good passing and movement helping open Coventry up.

Had a poor first half and never got to grips with Callum O'Hare in behind him. A tad better after the break.

Superb right-footed strike to put Huddersfield Town ahead just before the break – his fourth goal in six games, remarkably. Kept getting into dangerous areas and made some important defensive contributions.

A very Duane Holmes performance with some bright touches and good movement cancelled out by some poor touches. Put the ball on a plate for Jordan Rhodes second half.

Struggled to impose himself on the game bar one impressive first-half moment where he did well to hold off his man and fashion a shooting chance for himself. Missed a sitter second half.

Didn't have his best game playing out on the left wing as Town struggled to get out of their own half for long spells of the game.

(for Rhodes 61) – Made his return from injury from the bench but didn't quite find his rhythm. Should have scored after being put through by Tino Anjorin.

(for Holmes 65) – Showed a lot more flashes of what he can do on the ball than
