After a Hampden party, it's back to the day job for Rangers.

The Light Blues have Celtic in their sights following a shock 2-0 home loss to Hearts at the weekend for the champions. Assuming they've shaken off any Viaplay Cup final celebration hangovers, Philippe Clement's men can cut the gap at the top of the Premiership table to two points, knowing the rivals go head-to-head at the end of the month with Gers still having a game in hand.

But St Johnstone are a team on the up. Craig Levein has the Saints moving in the right direction after taking over from Steven MacLean and they are unbeaten in their last three, with Hibs the latest victims after a 1-0 win for Levein's men at McDiarmid Park on Saturday. A trip to Ibrox is a different proposition however, although the Perth side will be keen to capitalise on any post-Cup Final complacency.

This was due to be a weekend fixture, but had to be rescheduled due to Rangers' involvement in the latter stages of the Viaplay Cup, which they of course lifted at the weekend. It was never likely to be a Sky pick, so punters aren't really missing out. The game takes place on Wednesday, December 20 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
