How Manchester United may be affected by Brazil's decision on Fred and Alex Telles

Manchester United's Fred and Alex Telles have been included in Brazil's squad for the upcoming international break.

Both players will join up with Brazil's national side after United play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League at Old Trafford on Tuesday (March 15th).. Brazil are set to play Chile and Bolivia, as they play the remainder of their 2022 World Cup qualifying fixtures ahead of Qatar.

Brazil's match against Bolivia will be played on Wednesday, 30 March and it will kick off at 12.30 AM in the United Kingdom. That means Fred and Telles could be unavailable for United's match against Leicester, which is scheduled for Saturday, 2 April.

Ironically, Fred and Edinson Cavani were forced to miss United's last match against Leicester in October at the King Power Stadium after returning late to training following international duty in South America with Brazil and Uruguay respectively.

United lost that fixture 4-2 and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claimed his side were weaker without the presence of Fred in midfield.

Fred is a regular starter for Brazil, but Telles has been more of a peripheral squad member under national side manager Tite.
