Alex Telles claims Cristiano Ronaldo is the 'solution' and not the problem at Manchester United

Alex Telles has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo is the 'solution' rather than a problem at Manchester United.

Ronaldo started for United against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night, fresh off the back of scoring a hat-trick at Old Trafford against Tottenham Hotspur. Before the impressive individual performance, there was speculation as to whether the Portuguese star was happy at United.

His teammate Telles claimed that the 37-year-old has not been a problem since returning to United. Speaking to BT Sport, Telles said: "I was very happy to provide him with an assist (vs Spurs).

"The impact he has in our dressing room is very, very strong. We all know his history as a player, the quality he adds to the game. So it's important to have such a successful guy, someone who's always willing to help.

"Cris has never been a problem for us. He's always a solution," he added.

"He helps us, he's always willing to help us improve. Since he's arrived he's been humble enough to talk, learn and evolve.
