Hollyoaks' Dave admits killing two people in chilling twist as Cindy left gobsmacked
In a chilling revelation, Hollyoaks resident Dave Chen-Williams (Dominic Power) has confessed to his dark past.
The former delivery driver admitted to being responsible for the death of his baby grandchild in recent episodes of the Channel 4 soap. His late daughter Lizzie Chen-Williams became pregnant at 16 and decided to put the child up for adoption.
Before her untimely death, Lizzie attempted to reconnect with her daughter with the assistance of her step-mother Cindy Cunningham (Steph Waring), who was determined to locate the young girl in memory of her step-daughter.
However, during Wednesday's episode (July 31), which is available to stream on Channel 4, Dave finally revealed the truth about what happened to his grandchild.
He confessed to Cindy: "Yesterday was the first time I said any of that out loud. Lizzie ran away from camp with the baby and was hold up in a friend's empty house and it was there she decided to give the baby up I guess. CIndy asked: "Well, how did she know where she was?, reports the Mirror.
"Dave continued: "I went around there and I found a man leaving so I jumped back in the car and I gave chase. I was upset and I was flashing him to stop and I wouldn't and I slammed on my brakes just in time to see his car, you know, and the noise, I can still hear it rolling down that embankment.
"By the time. I get down there, he's dead and that's when I see the, you know, the baby blanket. The man who I thought was the father, the man who was driving, turned out to be a social worker named Phillip. He had a wife and two kids so now do you understand why I couldn't tell?
"It's because it was my fault. I killed both of them. The police just assumed it was an accident so they didn't bother investigating."
