‘Highly-talented’ - Everything said about Man United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri after puzzling Sevilla decision

It seems Manchester United loanee Hannibal Mejbri may not get the game time he was after when he sealed his January transfer window loan move to Sevilla.

The La Liga strugglers have released a statement saying the midfielder will not be part of the senior squad for the foreseeable future despite him only moving to the Spanish side a matter of days ago.

"After being with him, talking to him and having seen his first minutes in Girona, we are going to give him the necessary space to understand where he is, that he is at Sevilla and what it means," the statement said.

"You should take a step to understand what we want. Let's see if the boy applies himself and I think that in the end, he will understand perfectly what we want."

Hannibal's bustling and brazen style of play is well-known and his last start for United came back in November. A number of footballing figures have said similar things about the Tunisia star over the past few years, most of which have been positive.
