Her four-year-old grandson told her she would die... but it was too late

The son of a 'much loved mum' who passed away from lung cancer has spoken about the devastation smoking caused his family.

Damian Fish, who lives in Wigan, was on holiday when his sister, Lorna, called telling him he needed to speak to his parents urgently. His mum, Domini, had been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.

The 67-year-old mum of three underwent chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatment but sadly passed away in 2011, only 11 months after her diagnosis.

Domini had been smoking since the age of 14 and Damian and his siblings were brought up in a household with both parents smoking. His hatred for smoking began as a child surrounded by the addiction, to the point he sent a letter to the Prime Minister when he was seven, asking for smoking to be banned.

Now, as an adult, the dad of two is continuing to do whatever he
