Haaland to Cancelo - Man City's biggest winners and losers so far this season

It shows just how high Manchester City's standards are that in a season in which they have repeatedly been questioned and criticised for being below their best, they could still win a historic treble.

There have been some troubling moments for Pep Guardiola's side which should be expected given the disruptions caused by a mid-season World Cup but they did begin to find their stride again before the international break. City are currently undefeated in 10 games and scored 13 times in their last two matches alone.

They should be able to defeat Championship side Sheffield United to reach the FA Cup Final, are up against a Bayern Munich thrown into turmoil following the sacking of their manager in the next round of the Champions League and are still locked in a battle with Arsenal for the Premier League title. It's still all to play for and the rest of the season promises to be exhilarating.

Some players have enjoyed better seasons than others, though and here are the winners and losers of the season so far.

It's hard to look past Erling Haaland as the biggest winner of the season. He arrived at City with sky-high expectations and has surpassed them with style. Some did foolishly wonder if he'd have as good a time of it in England as he did in Germany but he soon made a mockery of that suggestion with 17 goals in his first 11 league matches but it was still suggested he made City a worse side. Jamie Carragher even suggested Haaland had chosen the wrong club.
