Green Brigade and Celtic fans clash in astonishing live radio rammy as ultra is branded a MORON

Celtic fans clashed live on radio over the Green Brigade's ban from Celtic Park – with a member of the ultras group being branded a moron after calling out other supporters’ Hoops credentials.

The Parkhead club brought the hammer down on the ultras, with unacceptable behaviour at Hibs the final straw which led to 200 season tickets being suspended indefinitely. It comes after weeks of the board and the Green Brigade clashing, with the supporters' group claiming they are being persecuted for their vocal support of the Palestinian cause while Celtic themselves maintain it is down to 'repeated incidents of unacceptable behaviour' at games.

The debate raged on Simon Jordan and Jim White's talkSPORT show and Jamie, a purported member of the Green Brigade, was invited on to discuss it. When asked how they reacted to the ban, he said: "We were collectively raging. This is classic from this board. This board, from the get go, have been nothing short of a disgrace. They know what our political views are. The Palestinians have had the same struggle as our ancestors, they've just been cast aside."

Host White then put him to the question over a number of allegations. He asked: "Illegal access to Celtic Park in the game against Lazio. Is that true?"

Jamie responded: "No. Where is the evidence for that?" He then admitted flares had been thrown on the pitch against Feyenoord but then bluntly denied any 'unsafe behaviour' at Easter Road with a simple "No."

White and Jordan then turned to another Celtic fan though who was apoplectic with Jamie's comments. He said: "For that moron, that child, to come on and say I'm not a real Celtic fan because I don't wave a Palestinian flag? I'm absolutely beelin'.
