Greater Manchester's weather borough-by-borough as region to be hit by rain and heavy wind
Greater Manchester has basked in glorious sunshine this bank holiday weekend. But the weather has already turned a corner - and things will look a lot different in the days ahead.
Clouds gathered over the region this afternoon, and the recent dry spell is expected to come to an end later tonight. Rain is due to fall across Greater Manchester on Monday (April 10) and again later in the week.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind on Tuesday and Wednesday, covering western areas of Greater Manchester including Bolton, Trafford and Wigan. The warning stretches across western areas of the UK, from south west Scotland down to the southern coast.

Temperatures are also expected to drop in the coming days, from the recent highs in the mid-teens, to less than 10C by Wednesday. With plenty of change on the way, here is Greater Manchester's weather forecast for the next five days, borough-by-borough.
