Greater Manchester's most expensive areas where house prices are plummeting fast
The property market can be uncertain, especially when it comes to house prices. Earlier this year, the Office for Budget Responsibility predicted that property prices will fall by 10 percent over the next two years, but up until now, they have continued to rise in most areas.
However, it now looks as though this downward trend is starting to take effect in certain parts of Greater Manchester. In the region's most expensive borough of Salford, Stockport and Trafford, some areas have seen their average house prices drop by considerable amounts in the last couple of months.
Here we look at the six areas of Greater Manchester where HM Land Registry figures show that house prices have dropped drastically between May and July - with one area where prices have plummeted by almost £70,000.
