Gorka Marquez says 'sorry' to Gemma Atkinson as hilarious tension exposed at home ahead of major event

Gorka Marquez jokingly said 'sorry' to his fiancée Gemma Atkinson as they revealed the tension in their home ahead of this weekend's Euro 2024 final. Football fans will know that England secured their final spot with a 90-minute winner from Ollie Watkins.

There were joyous scenes as the semi-final match against the Netherlands unfolded after Aston Villa striker Watkins scored the winner to send them through to this Sunday's (July 14) final against Spain.

But as fans of Gorka and Gemma know, there will be a bit of a divide come Sunday as Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka supports his home country and Hits Radio host Gemma cheers on hers.

Taking to Instagram after the final results were revealed, Gemma shared a clip to her Stories from Rocky IV of Ivan Drago staring Apollo Creed down as he vowed: "You will lose!" She added alongside it: "Me to Gorka from now until Sunday," with the England and Spain flags and a number of crying laughing emojis.

Gorka then later shared a photo of himself sporting his Spanish football shirt as he beamed for the camera alongside daughter Mia rocking her own red and yellow 'Espana' tee. On his Instagram Story, he said: "Okay, for all those asking about who Mia is supporting on Sunday, here is the answer."

He added a number of love heart eyes emojis alongside the sweet snap and its caption before adding: "Sorry @glouiseatkinson." But the tension has only continued.
